Staff Team Allocation into Project Tasks

I understand that the purpose of creating staff teams is to group employees, making it easier to manage them within the organisation and allocate them to specific project tasks. However, when updating the staff team groupings, the changes are not reflected in the project tasks. This defeats the purpose, as I now have to manually update staff allocations for each individual task line item.
Could you please look into this issue?
