Automated Project PO Creation

WorkGuru projects has functionality that allows users to effectively create a templated project purchase order with a click of a button. Once a purchase order template has been created and a supplier has been set for it, you can set it up for a project through the edit project screen by accessing the "Actions" button on the top right and toggling purchase templates. 



Multiple templates can be selected, and doing so will allow you to use them directly against the project. Hit save when you have added all of the templates required. 



Once you have added these purchase templates to the project, a new button will appear on the materials tab in the project details, clicking this button will bring up a window where you can select which template/s you wish to use to create the project PO. When you have selected the template/s you are wanting to use, click "Generate Purchases for Selected Templates" which will generate these as project purchases in draft status for further editing or approval.


The ability to add these purchase templates to projects can also be applied to quotes and project templates, for project templates a tab can be seen next to the overview which allows you to selected the relevant Purchase Templates for the Project Template being created/edited.



Further, if applying a project template that has a purchase template applied to it onto a quote, once that quote is accepted then the resulting created project will have the purchase templates mapped over to the project for selection.
