Managing Project Groups

Project Groups can be managed in the project group dashboard. The dashboard lets you search for and refine the project groups by Current, Complete and All groups. Click Create New Project Group to add new groups and you can edit and delete groups via the edit and trash icons.

Clicking on the group name will open the project group detail page. The detail page allows you to manage the project group's child projects and information and progress widgets displays it's realtime status.

Quick Actions

Profit and Progress Widgets - Displays combined actual vs forecast data from all the groups child projects.

  • Hours Worked - Total timesheets on all the groups child projects.
  • Tasks Completed - Combined total tasks completed on all the groups child projects.
  • Invoiced - Total invoiced via project group invoices and/or invoices raised via the child project's quick invoice function.
  • Cost - Total combined cost on all the group's child projects.
  • Projects Completed - Completion progress of current vs completed projects in the group.

Project Group Tabs

  • Current Projects - List of current projects in the group. You can click on the project number/name to open the project's detail page.
  • Completed Projects - List of completed projects in the group. You can click on the project number/name to open the project's detail page.
  • Tasks - Combined list of all tasks on all projects in the group. You can Mark Task as Complete without opening the individual projects details page from this tab.
  • Timesheets - Combined list of all timesheets added to all projects in the group.
  • Materials - Combined forecast vs actual list of all material usage on all projects in the group.
  • Invoices - Combined list of all invoices raised on either the project group or individual project.
  • Cost Overview - Combined list of all project purchase orders raised on all projects in the group.
  • Quotes - List of all quotes added to the project group.
  • Credit Notes - Combined list of all client and supplier credit notes raised on all projects in the group.
  • Files - Combined list of all files added to the files tab of all projects in the group.
  • Emails - Combined list of all emails added to the notes tab of all projects in the group.
