Managing Products

Products can be managed from the product dashboard (Products -> List Products). Search for any product info displayed on the dashboard and open the product detail page by clicking the product Sku. Use the Active and Inactive tabs to view active/inactive product lists.

You can administer your products from the Actions menu:

• Add Product - Add a new product.
• Import Products - Import multiple products from a csv file.
• Product Export - Export lists of products.
• Price Tiers - Create and manage alternate product pricing.
• Import Alternate Suppliers - Import alternate supplier details/pricing in bulk from a csv file.
• Export Alternate Suppliers - Export current list of alternate supplier pricing.
• Import Par Levels - Import product par levels and locations
• Export Par Levels - Export the current par levels as a csv.

Clicking on the product Sku will open the product detail page.

The detail page will display product information across the following tabs:

• Overview - Primary product details.
• Price Tiers - Alternate product pricing.
• Par Levels and Locations - Reorder levels and physical location in warehouse(s).
• Alternate Suppliers - List of alternate suppliers the product is purchased from with pricing details.
• Files - Files uploaded to the product such as brochures, manuals etc.
• Notes - Internal product notes.
• Transaction History- Product history which will only display if relevant. Note: For detailed stock movements for stock controlled products, it is recommended to use the product's stock movement history.
  • Purchase Orders - List of purchase orders with the product.
  • Stock Sales - List of stock sales with the product.
  • Projects - List of projects the product with the product
  • Production Jobs - The product has been part of a production workflow broken down by:
    • Produced In - Displays the production jobs which the product is the output.
    • Component In - Displays the list of production jobs which the product was used as a component.
    • Potential Outputs - Displays a list of production templates which the product is a component.
  • Serial Numbers - Display the serialised transaction history of serial or batch products.
  • Production Templates - Displays production templates if the product is listed as an output SKU.

The detail page functions are:

• Edit Product - Edit product details
• Copy Product - Duplicate the product details to create a new product.
• Create Purchase Order - Raise a new purchase order for the product.

You can also mark a product as inactive in the edit view by unticking the "Is Active" checkbox.
